Check out today’s big announcement. It’s so big I had to explain it in person!
After watching the video, let me know what you think! Do you like reading or watching posts? I would love to hear your thoughts to help me create a better blog!
Also, is it just me or do I have a huge lisp once the file compresses? Anyone have any suggestions to stop this?

Loving the video. Makes it so much more personal. Video is the way to “crush it” these days don’t ya know

@ Jill: It was easier than I thought! I had to get over the fear of doing it and just try! It wasn’t perfect, but it will get better as I go along.
@ Courtney: Good question. I need to recruit some.
@ Brooke: Thanks for the inspiration!
@ Tim: Thanks! I finally went for it. And yep, I agree, hoping to ‘crush it.’ Gotta hustle today, how about you?

This sounds really fun! Are you exfoliating your laptop (I thought I saw one on the floor in the video)? I’ll keep my blogging eyes peeled! Are you part of a freecycling group? http://www.freecycle.org/ If not, check them out! I’m sure there is one in your area.

Hey Jess!
This is a great idea! Love it! So cute — definitely excited for next week

@ S.E. Minegar: Yep, I’m exfoliating a laptop. It isn’t going on the blog since it doesn’t seem to work (and hasn’t been touched in a year). Do you know of any place to dispose of it? I looked online but nothing seemed easy enough (I find myself being lazy about this computer!).
@ Carolyn: Nice, let me know if you see something you like!

Sometimes my husband sells broken things for “parts” on ebay. As long as you wipe personal information and don’t hide the fact that there are major issues with the computer, I think it’s legit to sell. You never know if someone is looking for a replacement keyboard or something from an older model. Sometimes non-profits accept donated equipment too…if they have a computer-savvy person on staff. There is also this website: http://www.computerhope.com/disposal.htm

What a great idea. I live in a 500 sq ft apartment, so when I have even a little pile of exfoliated flotsom and jetsom, I have to take it to the local charity of my choice right away. No real garage sales allowed here, so when it’s time to go – it’s time to go! I never thought of a giveaway like this on my blog. I may just steal the idea!
And it’s lovely to see you in a video.

Wow – thanks for a great idea! Sometimes, I can’t believe how much stuff/past I carry from one year to the next without thought. I may try this myself. Thanks!

@ All: Be sure to send me any pictures of items you would like to exfoliate and/or put on the Free Garage Sale! I will be posting reader items next week
.
Let’s make this a community site for everyone to scout out new treasures and to divest exfoliations.
