For those in Chicago, I hope you can stop by for tonight’s Business in the City event! As I’ve mentioned:
- it is free
- it has great free food
- is the perfect place to ask business questions and get answers
- meet cool people with businesses or business ideas
- it is extremely low key
All in all, I think starting Business in the City is the best thing that I did in 2011.
So come on by, there is usually a few dozen people who attend and feel free to bring a friend!

Have you done events like Business in the City outside of Chicago? If not, do you have any plans to do so in the future? I’m a new MML follower and find the information here very helpful. I’m in New York but would love to attend something like Business in the City as I work to get my accessories business off the ground.

This event is so vital to our current new business landscape. Hopefully your example will encourage others to follow and do the same in their own cities! But it would be so fabulous if you came to San Francisco, I’ve gotta say.
