Good morning! Today’s DESIGN YOUR LIFE will be posted later today or tomorrow. It’s a good one, that’s for sure.
But until I have a chance to get that formatted, I wanted to share a little project I did with Jessica of Polished Sense. If you haven’t seen her awesome selection of shoes, hop over to her store and check it out. One of Jessica’s blog series is called “Raid My Closet” and I was her most recent muse.
Take a look at some of my favorite looks she pulled together- right out of my own closet! Combining the awesome ensembles she made with my existing pieces, she added a pair of her awesome shoes. The outcome is so fresh and original. Take a look at Part 1 and Part 2 for the complete set of looks she made for me.
Needless to say, my daily routine consists of jeans, t-shirts, and cardigans almost exclusively. But after this experience, I’m going to try to step out of the box a bit more. Thanks, Jessica!

Look how cute you are! LOVE your white sweater dress. I did this with a friend once who was cleaning out her closet. It’s fun to get someone else’s perspective on your wardrobe. You have a lot of cute dresses!

totally adorable!!!
each outfit is perfect on you! i wish i had the cream sweater outfit for myself!!! great boots and of course, YOU of all people WOULD be well accessorized!
i should have each of my sisters come over and do this for me. not that i don’t love my outfits, but it is nice to shake things up a bit and put on something on/pair something up that i might not think of.
once one of my sisters and i went to the mall and totally did an “i’ll shop for you and you shop for me and we’ll see how well we do” sort of swap. it was a major bummer. she totally only picked out outfits for me that she would look good in or that she liked but were totally not me in any way, and even though i think i nailed her style, i totally didn’t get her body type right, so anyway. at least it was good for a laugh

What a fun idea! It must be really interesting to see how someone else would put together all the things you see everyday and may not even think twice about. Love that first pink dress – they all look great!
