This is such an incredible post, Jess. And I’m reading it at 1 am. When thinking about the time, What would Tal say? Yes, I’m a bit obsessed!

We have been on such a similar path for so long. And there is a strange type of guilt that often accompanies our unconventional path. I’m not sure if guilt is the right word, but definitely a need to share with others the lessons we’ve learned through intuition. Yikes this could turn into a blog post — my main point: keep blogging and sharing. You are making a tremendous difference to so many people.

I discovered this book when I first moved to New York. I love it! But it’s definitely time for me to go back and read it again!! I think Shelley’s comment is so true!

Jess, I too feel empowered when I know that I can help or inspire another woman to live a life of passion and meaning. I feel that this is extremely important now. It is either “fear” or “control” that will get in our way. Getting caught up in traffic or the time of posting is sort of like coming back to look at the visitors at your tombstone.
I prefer to live for today. So no need to worry when you post, your readers will still love and adore you and your premise for your purpose.

I love books that can speak to us time and time again, thanks for sharing yours. I am reading Timothy Ferriss’s 4 Hour Work Week – and while it might sound like a new-age self help book, its actually proven to be quite helpful in many areas of my life. I know its one that I will re-read many times in my journey.

i was fortunate enough to discover this book not long after it was published and reread it again every few years. the thought that the opposite of love is not hate, but fear, changed my life. whenever i find myself in a not so great place emotionally, i always ask myself, ‘what am i fearing?’ that question alone gives me clarity almost immediately and has enabled me to move forward in ways i never imagined.

I love Marianne Williamson’s quotes so I’ll have to get this book. The Alchemist is pretty amazing as well.

Sorry, wrong quote! Marianne Williamson’s is equally beautiful but I was thinking of another one that has a similar concept called “Desiderata”. I think you would enjoy it as well.

That is one of all time favourite sayings (I have it posted on my fridge), but it’s actually called Desiderata and it’s written by Max Ehrmann in the 1920′s. Thanks for quoting it for others to read, it’s so beautiful.
